  • When Molly moved to New York City, with the intention of becoming an author, Molly had just about $300 in her pocket and her license for bartending with her.
  • After years of waiting tables at Lower Manhattan, taking up internships, etc, Molly got the idea of doing music reviews for an indie-rock magazine & charged a measly $5 per review.
  • Next, she joined FHM as an intern & later on became their editorial assistant.
  • When one of FHM’s editors moved to ESPN, he permitted Molly to freelance for the establishment.
  • In January 2006, she landed the job of Contributing Writer for ESPN, the Magazine. ESPN granted her an official contract in 2008.
  • Meanwhile, Molly continued her waitressing and bartending duties to supplement her income.
  • She left ESPN in April 2014, in order to write her book.
